Me During The Winter in New York

My dad bought a PC for me in 1998, its been over a decade. I used to play games, and the only websites I ever visited was Yahoo! for chess and cartoonnetwork.com, I didnt even know what Google was or that you can make money online.

In 2007 I borrowed $150 from my mom. It was to pay some guy who said he can make a website for me and I can start earning. I met him on DigitalPoint, a site that one of my friends in high school told me about. It was a scam. I spoke to the guy often, even today I know where the guy lives and what sites he owns. Im in USA, he’s in the UK, but I will definitely get him one day, just for the fun of it.

So bye bye money. Now I was at $0 again. I couldnt possibly tell my mom, or ask for more. So I looked around DP’s marketplace. I filled out offers at first, it got me small $1 or $5 earnings, which were adding up too slowly.

Then I met an Indian fella, Sri Bala. He made me mod of his forum and told me to make it good; I did it. I made his forum so much better by adding lots of content to it, holding contests to make people post and obviously submitting to directories and social bookmarks. However, he ended up having to marry and move, so it was over.

Now that I knew I could work magic on forums, I went ahead and told people on DigitalPoint that I could do that, and people hired me. I earned a few dollars through this too.

My Online Partner Kushagra AKA Krates

As time went on, I met more Indians. Two guys, Kushagra (left image)  and Arania, both 16 and 17 at the time in 2008, respectively. They taught me everything about making websites, buying domains, buying hosting, etc. Kushagra is my partner on everything I do, even today!

Kushagra is into rap, and he’s fairly good at it too.

After I had enough money, I needed to buy websites that didnt require too much care, so I went to the website marketplace and bought 11 proxies. Afterwards, I applied for AdSense and started earning towards my very first check.

I was so happy. I then bought Kushagra’s site, www.lookforav.com, because he needed money, and LookForav was PR3, so I started dreaming of making lookforav big! Today LookForav is still the same, but my aspriations of making it big have gotten bigger.

Finally, today, here I am, making money and helping people with their forums and MANY more things. Im good with SEO knowledge, I have learned how to market sites, and I have also gained the knowledge of how to start a business and keep it going well.

manik Im working with webmaster Manik (above), the owner of webcosmoforums.com, a fairly new forum that we aim to make the next large webmaster forum. People are joining daily, because Manik has implemented genius marketing techniques such as buying signature links on multiple forums nad hosting strong and healthy contests on the forum. There’s a lot to do with this forum, and our partnership grows stronger every day.

There are also other members on the forum who have helped me a lot at various times including Amit (known as mit on most forums) and Himoacs.

I also am partners with Easton, a young webmaster who has started DuroHost.com, a brand new hosting site that me nad him will work hard to maintain and keep busy. Hosting is a great business in my opinion, montly earnings help keep everything going smoothly, which is great.

Yes, I am Amir Mullick, an 18 year old webmaster who can believes he can do anything.
